About Lisa
With over 10+ years in the fitness industry as both coach and athlete, Lisa started beMOMSTRONG to help make information, exercise and coaching accessible to all moms.
Lisa:
For me, it's not about being the strongest, the fastest or the fittest, I have always naturally been active. I understand that movement and exercise can be fun, challenging and rewarding all at the same time. Through CrossFit, I found my passion coaching women - helping them find and develop confidence in themselves through strength training. After chatting to Moms at the gym and starting to work with pregnant and postnatal clients, I realized how inaccessible the right information about exercise and pregnancy is. It then became my mission to create something fun, accessible, informative, pelvic floor/ postpartum aware and challenging enough so Moms could feel themselves regaining strength in their mind and body. Thus, beMOMSTRONG was born.

Jodie Pulsifer
BaKPE, MPT, Registered Physiotherapist and Proud Member of PABC
Internal Pelvic Floor Trained, ROST Certified
Jodie (she/her/hers) completed her Master’s of Physical Therapy in 2012 at the University of British Columbia. Jodie became a pelvic health physiotherapist in 2016 and started Full Circle Physiotherapy because of the gap in care she saw for the families in East Vancouver. Full Circle Physiotherapy has grown into a collective of providers in the lower mainland who share the same goal of providing up to date evidence based and inclusive services to a diversity of clients.
Jodie is passionate about education of clients and collaboration with other healthcare professionals. Jodie treats from a biopsychosocial framework that considers your thoughts, beliefs and context into your health and wellbeing. Clinically, Jodie loves supporting clients in pregnancy and in their transitions through life post-partum. Jodie loves movement for health and wellbeing and loves to support her clients to understand their pelvic health and get back to moving in meaningful ways to them.
Jodie has 2 small children and is both sad and excited to have retired her double stroller days. These days she can be found running with her dog, Leni, cycle commuting and working out in her makeshift courtyard and parking garage home gym.
